Honda Ireland (as part of the REDCO group) is proud to support the Children’s Medical and Research Foundation. The Children’s Medical & Research Foundation has been at the heart of Irish paediatric care, dedicated to the improvement of children’s health since 1965.

Honda Ireland (As part of the REDCO group) and IT Force Ltd are teaming up for the 2012 Firewalk Challenge (10^thof March 2012) to raise funds and increase awareness of the Children’s Medical and Research Foundation (CMRF) at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin.

The Firewalk Challenge is a motivational training seminar where you learn to break through your own limitations and overcome your fears. At the end the participants walk bare foot across 20 feet of wood embers burning at 800 degrees!

The event is being held to raise funds and increase the awareness of CMRF which supports the research into the cause, treatment, care and prevention of children’s illness and disease. The CMRF also actively supports excellence in the care and treatment of sick children by providing supplementary equipment, facilities and assistance.

The charity fundraiser firewalking challenge will be led by Brian Moore of Peak Potential, Ireland’s leading Firewalking Company.

Shirley and Patrick have recently signed up to raise funds in aid of Barnardos for the Grand Canyon Trek 2012.

The fundraising target is a mimimum of €4600 each so their goal is to reach €9200 and funds raised will go    toward helping the most vulnerable children in ireland.

Barnardos‘ work is about helping children make the most of their lives. They operate in over 40 Barnardos centres in communities across Ireland.

Barnardos work with families to improve parenting skills and tackle issues of poverty, domestic abuse, addiction and the impact these problems have on children.

This work cannot be carried out without the support of the many donors and funders who make this possible.

Shirley and Patrick have organised a charity firewalk delivered by Brian Moore of Peak Potential, Ireland’s leading firewalking company at the Clarion Hotel in Sligo on Saturdy 18th of February, please take a look at the attached brochures.
